I’m about to start my second year at Howard University as an International Business Major with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. I’ve always had a passion for business, but what truly gave me love for different cultures, travel, and global opportunities, was attending boarding school.

When I was in third grade, I was a part of the Gifted and Talented Program at school. One day, my teacher mentioned the idea of boarding school to my mom, which led her to be set on finding a way for me to attend even though we didn’t have the financial means to make it seem possible.

The funny part? I hated the idea in the beginning.

My mom forced me to fill out applications and attend meetings while I still completely rejected the idea in my brain. Looking back, I guess mothers really do know best.

Boarding school ended up being one of the most transformative experiences of my life. I ended up building friendships with students from around the world, gained exposure to different cultures and perspectives, and had opportunities to travel and learn in ways I never imagined.

I attended an international boarding school in the Hamptons on nearly a full scholarship. It was a completely different world from anything I had known. Many of my classmates came from affluent backgrounds, and for the first time, I found myself surrounded by people from different countries, cultures, and walks of life.

To me, creating First Class Futures was personal. I know there are talented, ambitious students who have the potential to thrive in incredible spaces but may never pursue certain opportunities simply because they haven't been exposed to them. I wanted to create a community where students feel supported, encouraged, and empowered to explore opportunities that may seem out of reach.

My goal is to help students discover what's possible, connect them with mentors and resources, and understand that their future is not limited by their zip code, background, or circumstances.

Because sometimes one opportunity, one mentor, or one open door can change the entire trajectory of a life. I can't wait to help you discover opportunities, make meaningful connections, and create experiences that are just as life-changing as mine were!
